Judge Earle got no more than a passing mention as one for the spring in a previous Pointers but now the headgear returns as the ground dries up, he might be worth a small wager today.
He’s got some pretty desperate-looking form figures since coming back from a long absence but it’s very easy to put the red pen through all three of those efforts, with either the ground/trip against him, or the tongue-tie and blinkers combination that seems to suit him missing. He’s dropped 15lb in those three runs and as the daffodils come out, those same Spring signs of life are just coming from the Bowen yard, as they so often do. Returned to hurdles here, Judge Earle might not be the outsider the market implies.
