We might look a bit mad for putting TRIXSTER up again after a poor effort at Huntingdon last time, but really it’s a run that needs the red pen putting through it, as he was detached for much of the race and never really put into it.
It’s possible he needed the run after a couple of months away too, but all the same, his previous third at Ludlow had signified a step back in the right direction, and he’s simply too well handicapped to ignore.
Charlie Price, who seemed to get on well with him that day at Ludlow, is back on board, and with the promise of more rain which he’ll enjoy, we’ll keep him onside again today.
