Adrian Wintle has had a quiet year until recently, but five winners from his last 20 runners shows that the Westbury-On-Severn handler is right back in the groove, and Kenstone has become very well handicapped.
A C&D winner off a BHA mark of 79 in his prime, he has dropped to a basement mark of 50, which is 9lb lower than for his latest success last year.
He’s not as consistent as he once was, but can go well fresh, and is likely to be fully wound for this, given his trainer has gone to the trouble of booking wonderkid Billy Loughnane.
